The room I stayed in was luxurious, with modern comforts tastefully embedded in the historical charm of the castle. The welcoming atmosphere and excellent service immediately made me feel at home.The restaurant, Bains, offers refined French cuisine with a stunning view over the lake. The hot and cold breakfast buffet overlooking the serene lake was a delightful start to each day. The Kingfisher bar provided a great selection of drinks, including some delicious draught beers to indulge in.The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring nearby attractions like the Waterloo battlefield, only a short drive away.
